Students have extensive laboratory experiences using contemporary technologies for scientific inquiry, mathematical calculation, and engineering design.

State-of-the-art 1:1 technology in classrooms includes laptops and iPads. Teachers have Microsoft Surface laptops, SMART Boards and document cameras. The school is equipped with two computer labs.

Our Engineering classes offer students the opportunity to design and construct models in cooperative groups.

Our school’s STEM Plus opportunities allow students to choose an extra course based on exciting STEM-related themes, including participation in the annual Connecticut Invention Convention.

Pathway preference is given to rising 9th graders applying to Pathways Academy of Technology & Design who select it as their first choice.
